Hello Nick, I love your site Nick. Keep up the good work. I retired from the Stanhope Police dept.,in 1993.Having served as it's Police Chief for 18 years and on the department for 33 years and turning to your site keeps me in touch with my beloved Sussex County. My wife and I retired to Florida and miss our home county very much. Thanks again and don't forget that Stanhope is the southern gateway to beautiful Sussex County.. Respectfully, Nick Grego While surfing on the net, I found your web site today. I must thank you for all of your hard work to put this site and cams together. I have passed it on to my friends in the area that I am sure do not know of your site. I can't thank you enough for such a wonderful site! Lisa

Nick, I checked out SussexCountyWeather in early October. It has been bookmarked as a favorite ever since. I was telling people around Columbus Day that we were going to have a white Christmas, due to your prediction!! The clincher was your April 6th date. I remember the '70 Easter storm and a few other whoppers in the mid 80's during April. However, even though this winter was robust with snow, I thought it was played out by mid March. Over the last two weeks the weather pattern really shifted into the Spring mode. Each day I would check your forecast and was saying no way will any wintry weather return. WRONG!! A few times I emailed Scott Gordon, because I am one of those few nut cases that really enjoys snow. My compliments to you for your daily predictions and a superb job at predicting so many snow events this past winter. Dave from Randolph Hi Nick, I
sent you an email some time back thanking you for your wonderful site.

I wish you and your family a Very Happy Christmas and Happy New Year .
I have watched you on
Very good luck Nick and thanks for your very fine service. Have a wonderful Holiday season.! Kind
regards, Bernie Sweeney,
This is the best weather site in the state. I check your forecast and weather coms. from work. I recommended this site to some of my work associates and they were completely amazed. They booked marked your site and check it frequently during inclement weather as I do. Keep
up the great work.
Just a note to say what a great site this is. Worried wife called alerting me to the driving hazards "back home"; as I sit here at work in Bergen County. Visited
your site, and was greatly surprised by it's content and layout. Good job.
Keep up the good work.
I am so glad I found you! Since I work in Somerset County, This is a great way to keep track of what it is like at home. There is a big difference between the two areas, and I like to know what I am going to encounter on the way home. Judging by today's forecast, I think I am going to pack up and head north a.s.a.p. Thanks for your coverage! Pat

Dear Nick: Thank you so much for such a welcome website. I live on the Mountain at Culvers Gap. I agree that so many of us in Sussex Co. do work out of the area and need this information, even though I retired from the workforce in March, I'm still interested in road conditions. I'm so sick of listening to weather forecasts that only target the large cities in the Tri-State area and then end with "Temps will be colder or Snow will be falling North and West of the city" - which means us and we can only guess! Thanks again for keeping us all in tune with what is happening around us and keep us the good work. Joan

Nick, As a former Newton residence I wanted to let you Know that your new webpage for Sussex County weather is going to be a great service to all in Sussex County. I regularly read the NJH on line and therefore I read the article about your new website. After reading the article decided to check out your website and was very impressed. Keep up the good work. Sincerely,
I thought it was interesting (and somewhat strange) to note that this evening it was 41 in mount washington, NH and at the same time it was below freezing in the hills of MA, CT, and of course High Point, NJ (love today's live cam photo of the ice crashing tree limbs down, it is amazing to be able to prove to people that High Point is so completely different than the rest of the state climatologically speaking). Thanks again for the great site. Dan

Nick, I just want to say thank you for the great job you are doing. I check your site almost daily or at least whenever I wish to get an accurate forecast! Keep up the great work! Barbara
Nick, I was informed of your web page by my friend and former colleague Tony Pann (he now works in Washington DC). Your web page is an impressive feat. In addition to broadcasting at WBAL in Baltimore, MD, I also teach two college classes and have shared your web page with my students. Thank you, Justin

Nick - Thanks, and we love your webpage. Great service! Your weather predictions are very accurate and we appreciate that! Sager Family Nick, Over the past few years you have been a great help. Once I called you from Florida, trying to figure out which way we should drive back to beat a snowstorm, and another when I called you from Kansas after checking out the forecast on the site. Both times you were right on the money. In fact, last March when I was flying in from Kansas City you recommended an earlier flight, which I got and sure enough I made it to the top of Sparta Mountain just in time. Keep up the great work. Your web site is great! Where's the snow this winter???? John Rutkowski Sparta Hi Nick, I really appreciate what you offer our county for free! Keep up the good work. Bob Loverro Sparta Nick, I have always used your forecasts for local weather, but this is the first time I have looked at the "Storm Reports" page. Excellent Graphic! As far as reports go, I will gladly send any info that I observed on my north on Rt. 23. I commute from Clifton. Bob

Hi Nick, My daughters are on a swim team and their coaches have used the site to determine if practice should be held or not due to weather. I like Scott Gordon's weather map discussion group. It helps my students to forecast the weather for their class lab reports. Thank

Hello
Nick,
Hi Nick. Many, many thanks and kudos for the sussex county weather site. Not only do we appreciate the local forecasts and timely updates, but the references towards America and God are terrific. Makes me very proud to be living in Sussex County, NJ! I have the site locked in my Favorites column and talk it up whenever and wherever the subject comes up. Keep it up, and we love it Mike Kosco Franklin Nick, I go to your site everyday, and I cannot believe it. You are right on the spot again. Its snowing in Hopatcong right now and I wanted to congratulate you on your success of predicting snow. Too bad it won't snow on Christmas though. Hi Nick, I really like your web site and have it in my favorites at home and at work. I especially appreciate the cameras in Augusta, Rt. 15 at Ross's Corner, and at High Point. Your site is much better than the Weather Channel, even though they are great, because your information is right where we live and travel to work and that is exactly what we need when the weather is snowy or rainy. I'm very happy that I found your site and I hope you keep providing such great information for a long time to come. Thanks again. Susan
Just want to thank you for this web page. I recently took a job in Newton and I live in Pen Argyl, PA. This is the only way I get Newton and Sussex County news and I really appreciate it - especially the weather and school closings. Thanks again. Dodi Maragulia Dear

Hi Nick- Thanks so much for the informative presentation you gave to the 4th graders here at Helen Morgan School. The children really enjoyed it, and learned lots too, as you'll see from their notes. You explained the various weather phenomena in a way that the children could really understand - no small feat, where something as complex as the weather is concerned! Thanks again for sharing your time and expertise with us! Sincerely,
Just wanted to let you know that your site is in my favorites folder. I check it very often and in many cases have found you to be more accurate than The Weather Channel. I love the weather cams also. Keep up the good work! Thanks for being right most of the time! Beth

Dear Nick, Just visited your web site for the 1st time today! I love the way it's set up! Great graphics! My husband has been a fan of your site for a year or so. Nick, I can't begin to tell you how helpful your site was this morning. R/ZR line was pretty clear cut with coastal front never really getting close to you but watching the temps in Sussex at the different elevations was great. ASOS from Airports was good in this situation , but your stuff can't be beat in the way it's set up on the site. Thanks,

Hi Nick--neat and useful (web)site. You caused me to "smile, with warmth" in the good memories of of growing up in Franklin during the 30s/40s. It seems there was more of the beautiful white stuff then, not to mention the recall of the sound of "crunchy" snow underfoot. Hello, I wanted to let you know that I enjoy checking the weather in Sussex County. I grew up less than a mile from Ross' Corner and spent many years at Culver Lake so I have been watching the snow build up there at Ideal Farms. I live in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia now and we only got a slight dusting from this storm. Am looking forward to the additions that are coming. Clara Van Stone |
